Stephanie Schwetz and Tad Connerton Patrons of Opera I was encouraged by the music we created together, secure in the environment with such loving and helpful people, and most of all, inspired by your leadership, discipline, experience, and grace. You have always been one of my idols. Your teaching and guidance challenge me. There are certain people in your life that not only inspire you but kindle a desire to pursue a dream. Since the first time I saw you perform, you sparked my love for opera. Whenever I have a lesson with you, I feel more sure about my voice and my desire to perform. You have my admiration, support, and endless respect, Nadia Marshall University Student of Music/Voice In the past three years I have had the pleasure of working with Steffanie Pearce on three outstanding and highly successful Opera Naples productions, "Faust," "Tosca," and "The Barber of Seville," the later two in cooperation with Artis Naples. Ms. Pearce has always been cordial, efficient and supportive of my work. Her first-hand knowledge of the opera world gives her a deep understanding of all areas of opera production. I have greatly enjoyed being apart of her team. Paul Nadler Conductor of Metropolitan Opera My respect and admiration for your talents, vision and tireless efforts in your chosen profession began in 1999/2000 at the Vineyards clubhouse. Your performance and personality inspired so many of my members to learn more about opera. Many became eager and staunch supporters of your organization and vision. Joseph Delfino past president of the Italian Culture Society What is opera without a great singer? I will always remember your performances that I was privileged to see and hear. Thank you for your dedication to the art. I am sure you and your opera will soar again. If you just walked out on the street and started singing a crowd would soon form. George Crabtree May your efforts to continue your involvement with this company you love, be most successful. We have always been vocal supporters and attendees when possible. Never have we been disappointed in the quality of the productions and the professionalism with which they were presented. God bless you as you move ahead. Leon and Lela Gahwiler The several times I worked there, you were the backbone of the company. I sincerely hope there is a happy ending in the works – the company deserves passionately committed people advocating for it, who strive toward artistic excellence, growth and innovation – if ANYONE involved has those qualities, it would be you.” Heather Buck Metropolitan Opera Your company and productions have done nothing but improve each & every year to the point where some of your productions have been among the best opera I’ve ever seen. Bruce W. Novark, M.D. As a mom, I am very thankful for the mentoring you have provided to Tori, and I know that Tori values you and sees you as an excellent role model. I know you will continue to persevere with professionalism and passion as you move forward. Carol Kaptur I’ve seen and I have watched You are amazing. To be able to go from teaching, to hiring singers, to costumes, to sets, to the teckie stuff, to singing to raising money ohhhh my gosh watching you over these years and watching the Opera grow has been a wonderful experience. I don’t know what to say, YOU MADE A DREAM COME TRUE. Gina Weiner I just wanted to give you some feedback on the (Dunbar Middle School) kids singing with the Gulfshore Opera at Vanderbilt Presbyterian in Naples. It was fantastic!! Lexie was so excited to meet and sing with the opera singers. She said they were very nice people. It really was fun to watch those talented singers up close. Lexie is really looking forward to singing with Gulfshore again in March. This is a real treat for her, and an experience she will never forget. Thanks very much.
